Axon Moore are pleased to be working on behalf of a rapidly-growing manufacturing business as they look to recruit an ambitious Part-Qualified Management Accountant capable of excelling in a broad and varied role.

Working as part of a supportive team with exceptional mentorship provided, this fantastic opportunity is well suited to a Management Accountant looking to progress their career towards a Financial Controller/Finance Director position in the future.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Preparation and reporting of monthly management accounts with appropriate commentary where required
• Being a valued business partner with the Operations team to support and assist in making business decisions
• To ensure balance sheets and cashflows are accurate and reconciled
• To provide appropriate additional analysis to support the accounts and any ad hoc analysis as required
• To assist in completion accounting following acquisitions
• To assist in the year end audit and provide supporting schedules
• To assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
• Ad-hoc tasks

Required Skills and Experience:

• Good management accounts experience
• Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA
• Good IT and MS Excel skills
• Great attention to detail
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities
• Experience of working as part of a team
• Able to quickly adapt to change
• Work efficiently towards meeting deadlines
