FP&A Analyst

Axon Moore are currently recruiting for a growing manufacturing business based in Bury who are looking for an FP&A Analyst to join their team on a 15 month contract basis to cover maternity leave.

The role will report into the Financial Controller and you will be in a standalone FP&A role.

Duties:

• Lead the business planning process and the underlying models and analysis to help with the understanding if the impact of plans and trends on profits, cash and dividends
• Monitor cashflow and forecasts whilst understanding cash needs or requirements for the forthcoming quarter
• Analysis of financial data that the company collects with a view to monitoring and creating models and processes to support key business decisions
• Analysing data, monitoring variances, identifying trends, recommending actions
• Supporting key business functions as and when required as a business partner and driving change
• Tracking and supporting project performance, delivery of expected results and monitoring of cash and capital expenditure
• Providing ongoing reports, recommending and implementing solutions
• Maintaining and developing databases and cleansing data sources
• Improving the flow and quality of financial information
• Build relationships across the business

Person Specification:

• Advance excel skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to various internal systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience of leafing the budget consolidation process and working with business departments to identify risks
