Accounts and Payroll

Axon Moore are exclusively recruiting on behalf of a well-established business based in North Manchester. My client is seeking an experienced Accounts and Payroll candidate to join the team on a full time, permanent basis.

This would be the ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic and organised individual looking for a busy role in an SME business. The ideal candidate will have a broad experience in accounts, covering transactional duties, management accounts and payroll using Sage 50.

Responsibilities include:

• Responsibility for all accounts and administration using Sage 50
• Daily financial management
• Produce company management accounts P&L and balance sheet
• Analyse company figures and report them to CEO to highlight and improve cost efficiencies
• Sales ledger, producing invoices and checking aged debtors
• Purchase ledger, processing invoices onto the system
• Monthly payroll for 85 staff
• All payroll year end processing including P14 and P35 submission to HMRC and producing P60s
• Bank Reconciliations
• VAT Returns

Experience & Skill Requirements:

• Experience working within accounts and payroll (3+ years)
• Intermediate Excel skills including VLookup and Pivot Tables
• An enthusiastic and focused person with a positive attitude
• Experience using Sage 50 and/or similar accounting software
• AAT and accounting qualifications are beneficial
