Purchase Ledger Clerk

This well established organisation are offering an exciting opportunity to join the business as an Accounts Payable Clerk on a temporary basis to cover a vacancy. The role will be offered for 1-3 months with an option to apply for the permanent role. Working in a small team, you will be responsible for a section of the ledger and all relevant duties.

You will be working in an open office, as part of the wider finance team. This role involves processing invoices, dealing with queries, matching, batching and coding invoices, ledger reconciliation's and processing payments. Regular communication with internal and external contacts will play a key part to the role.

My client is seeking a purchase ledger / accounts payable clerk who can join the organisation and hit the ground running. You will have experience of processing high volumes of invoices, resolving queries, having used a computerised accounting system and being available for work at short notice.
