We’re delighted to see today that one of Axon Moore’s long standing clients, Tactus Group, has secured a £40 million investment from Chrysalis Investments to help accelerate their international buy-and-build strategy. Having worked with the business since its early days placing multiple Financial professionals during their growth journey, we’re proud to continue to work alongside Tactus at such an exciting time as we assist with multiple appointments into their ambitious team.
Headquartered in Warrington, Cheshire, Tactus is a rapidly growing consumer technology business specialising in the high growth gaming, education and entry level computing sectors. It has strong and impressive relationships with global corporate technology outfits such as Microsoft, Amazon, Intel and Best Buy and continues to consistently achieve solid growth within its market – recently winning the coveted Microsoft Device Partner of the Year Tactus wins Microsoft award after supplying 165,000 laptops to schoolchildren
Following this sustained period of significant organic and acquisitive growth, we have helped Tactus increase its headcount with quality finance professionals and look forward to working alongside them in their continued expansion. This £40m investment backing from Chrysalis Investments, a £1.5bn FTSE 250 listed investment company, will provide a considerable boost for Tactus’ plans to become a globally recognised gaming and consumer computing group.
This cash injection marks Tactus’ largest funding boost to date, following a £12.5m round led by Liverpool-based Arete Capital Partners in April 2021, which allowed for the acquisition of Bradford-based CCL Computers.
We are excited to be working alongside Tactus, whose future is more exciting than ever with a real focus on accelerating its international buy-and-build strategy, with several global acquisitions and partnerships already in the pipeline.
Chrysalis Investments’ portfolio includes an impressive list of global technology giants including another of our clients, THG, who are an e-commerce company with Headquarters at Manchester Airport.
