Wednesday saw two Axon Moore consultants from our Yorkshire office attend the University of Bradford to meet Accountancy & Finance students and offer advice as they look to start their careers in the finance world.
Elise Newbrooke and Victoria Abotorabi linked up with the University of Bradford’s Employer and Placement Services Consultant, Helen Bradley, to hold a 3 hour drop-in session for students. There were some great conversations with dozens of students at our Axon Moore booth throughout the day and Elise and Victoria were delighted to share their advice and interview tips with those that they met.
Elise said “We are in a really fortunate position to be able to visit universities and offer first hand advice to students as they prepare for what is a daunting transition into the world of work. It’s a great part of our job to be able to help those who are just starting out in their careers and it was a real pleasure to meet so many enthusiastic students.
Thank you to Helen Bradley for making us feel so welcome on campus – we’re hoping that this will be the first of many opportunities to visit the university going forwards!”
With other members of our Axon Moore team booked in to visit other northern universities over the coming weeks and months, we’re excited about being able to share our advice and help finance students as they seek to secure their first finance role.
