Axon Moore are delighted to be once again working alongside a highly-valued client in their search for an ambitious and experienced Accounts Assistant to join their rapidly-growing team. This role is well suited to either an AAT qualified/finalist or a part-qualified ACCA/CIMA who is eager to complete their professional qualification and purse a career within finance. This exciting role will offer the successful candidate multiple avenues to continue their personal development due to the broad exposure and involvement within projects which will be afforded to them.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support the production of monthly Management Accounts against strict deadlines.
- Assistance with Purchase Ledger and Payroll.
- Support with banking and VAT returns.
- Variance Analysis involving budgeting and forecasting.
- Accurate preparation of Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Provide assistance in the annual Budgeting process.
- Assist with internal and external auditing.
- Other ad-hoc duties and projects.
- Either AAT qualified/finalist or CIMA/ACCA part-qualified.
- Broad experience within finance roles.
- Exposure to management accounts.
- Experience of complex reconciliations.
- Able to efficiently manage a high-volume workload.
- Sage and Microsoft Excel proficient.
- Proactive, self-motivated, organised and able to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively.
