Job description

Axon Moore are exclusively recruiting an Accounts Receivable and Credit Control role on behalf of an exciting and growing business with their shared services centre based in Manchester City Centre. The company operate in the health care sector and it’s main customers are some of the largest global businesses in the industry.

This role will work within the Order To Cash team, reporting into the OTC Manager to ensure timely collection and allocation of cash receipts, chasing debt when overdue. You will also process bank and cash reconciliations, process intercompany transactions and provide analysis into customer accounts.

Salary and benefits:

Salary - £25,000 - £28,000 DOE, hybrid working options – 2 days per week in their central offices in Manchester City Centre, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension and other benefits available on request.

Responsibilities include:
  • Timely and accurate completion of all accounting activity
  • Monitoring customer accounts, ensuring they operate within credit limits and reviewing regularly
  • Credit control on overdue invoices by email and phone
  • Account reconciliations
  • Actively invoice due dates to ensure prompt payment within terms
  • Allocating cash to customer accounts
  • Comply with SLAs
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to change and improvement in process
  • Work collaboratively with the OTC team and drive growth in the team
Experience & Skill Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a credit control/accounts receivable role
  • Accounting and Credit qualifications are welcomed but not essential
  • Enthusiastic and proactive approach
  • End to end OTC experience
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting systems – Oracle is hugely beneficial
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbally, with a confidence and ability to business partner
  • Problem solving mindset, willing to find something out if you don’t already know
  • Planning and organisational skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
