The Company - Axon Moore are recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join the finance team of an innovative and market leading technology company. Since incorporation, they have gone from strength to strength and have worked hard to establish an excellent experience for all employees and customers. They are now seeking an Assistant Accountant to join the team who is keen to learn in the role and pursue a qualification.
So if you are currently studying towards your AAT and looking for a new challenge, or you have experience within finance and would like to join a business which supports your training and development. This could be the ideal role for you !
About the role - The business will offer excellent training and exposure to international growth and acquisitions, making it the ideal opportunity on the route to qualification. The role will offer AAT study support as well as the opportunity to gain the practical hands-on experience needed to thrive within your Finance career.
Salary & Benefits - £25,000, bonus, hybrid – 2 days in the office, full study support with study leave , 28 days holidays plus stars, pension, health benefits, social events, City Centre offices and well-being allowance.

Main Duties
- Purchase Ledger – matching and coding of invoices
- Sales Ledger – raising monthly sales invoices, allocating cash
- Credit control – chasing outstanding invoices and dealing with queries
- Payment runs
- Reconciliations across multiple bank accounts
- Dealing with queries
- Month end reporting and supporting the Finance Manager
Person specification
- A ‘Can-do’ attitude
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Prior experience in an accounting role
- Knowledge of finance systems
- Able to work to deadlines
