The Responsibilities:

This role with report directly into the finance manager and consists of the following responsibilities:
  • Purchase/Sales ledger management
  • Invoice processing
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Debtors
  • Fixed Assets
  • Creditors
  • Current assets – Bank, Stock
  • VAT return
  • Accruals/Prepayments
  • Cash book/banking management
  • Credit Cards/Expenses
  • Credit account management
  • Debtor chasing
  • Sales, GM/GP
  • Stock – Trends/Variances
  • Expenses – Overhead analysis
  • Carbon Emissions
  • Transport
  • Assisting with monthly management accounts
  • Reporting to Financial Controller
  • Timely completion of all Purchase/Sales ledger functions and reconciliation of balance sheet
 

The Person:

The right candidate for this role is someone that carries these essential traits:
  • Graduate degree qualifies or relevant experience
  • Strong team player
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a financial role
  • Ability to learn new/changed systems quickly
  • Working knowledge of Oracle
  • Through and methodical thinker
  • Existing exposure towards month end (essential)
  • Part qualified (or desire to study ACCA/CIMA)
