My client is seeking a graduate/AAT studier or CIMA/ACCA part-qualified Assistant Management Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. This would be the ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic, driven individual looking for a busy, developmental role in a fast paced role. There is scope for progression within 1-2 years. Study support is included for CIMA/ACCA as they are looking for someone quite ambitious.

Responsibilities include:
- Provide direct support to the Management Accountant and Site Accountant
- Contribution and support with the Weekly Accounts
- Daily and weekly KPI reporting
- Support with SOX controls
- Accruals and prepayments
- Journal posting
- Liaising with the procurement teams and buyers
- Ordering and management of stock
- Assisting with management reporting
- Year-end audit support
- Other ad-hoc duties within finance including holiday cover for the small team and Management Accountant
- Graduate/AAT studier or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA Accountant
- Some experience in accounting would be beneficial but isn’t necessary
- Strong IT skills and a competent user of Excel – VLOOKUP and pivot tables as standard.
- Experience using an ERP system, especially SAP is beneficial
- Highly enthusiastic and looking to develop and progress in the role
- Good time planning skills and attention to detail
- A self-starter with excellent team work abilities, who works hard under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills – approachable and down to earth with good communication skills
