Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare monthly management reports, along with supporting analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Produce monthly board report, including commentaries to explain variances to budget/forecast.
- Calculate and process all monthly journals, including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation.
- Reconcile intercompany balances, ensuring any differences are investigated and resolved.
- Perform and review customer and product profitability analysis, providing explanations for findings identified.
- Input supplier invoices and propose and process payments
- Complete supplier statement reconciliations, following up on any differences with external contact for the relevant supplier.
- Manage the EDI process to ensure all sales invoices are raised on a timely basis in the customer portals
- Obtain remittances from customer portals and allocate customer payments to individual invoices on the accounts receivable ledger.
- Review customer debt ageing and pursue collection of cash from customers.
- Record financial transactions and perform daily reconciliations of the bank accounts.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with direct and indirect tax reporting.
- Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational and time-keeping skills
- High attention to detail and able to take ownership of their role
- Good IT and MS Excel skills
- Hard-working with a can-do approach to work
