Bookkeeper | Heaton Mersey, Stockport| £24,000 - £28,000
Axon Moore are delighted to be working with a client who are looking for a Bookkeeper to join their friendly high calibre finance team. They are looking for someone who can look after around 10 client’s books and VAT returns. The role will be mainly office based with the occasional site visit. Previous experience within a practice environment would be helpful but not required.

Key Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for approx. 10 clients books and VAT returns
- Processing sales invoices
- Receipts and Payments
- Preparing financial statements
- Maintaining Sales/Purchase Ledger
- Communicating effectively with HMRC
- Willingness to travel to clients’ premises
- Strong customer service
- Suitable for someone AAT qualified or working toward their AAT
- Ability to manage your own time, workload, and work under pressure
- Have excellent communication skills (verbal & written) and be a team player
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Have good IT skills including payroll software, though training will be provided
