I am currently working with an exciting, highly successful PE-backed business seeking a CFO to support them through a sale transaction. Working alongside the CEO, to be considered for the role you will have successful deal experience and the mindset to do whatever is required within a high growth, entrepreneurial business to achieve success. Your management of the small Finance Team will ensure BAU financial tasks are performed accurately and on time. You will engage with all teams and areas of the business to add value, resolve challenges and provide key insights for future decision making. Your expertise in strategically building the business financial capabilities and reporting for a future exit will be used to the full.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the efforts and the results of the finance department and supporting the business effectively. You will be required to undertake all aspects of financial management, including accounting functions and operations, regulatory and financial reporting, statutory compliance, budget and forecasts preparation as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.
Performing at pace will be second nature as well as the ability to be both hands on and strategic. You will display strong leadership skills and have a track record of managing relationships with external stakeholders including private equity partners, bankers, auditors and tax advisors. Naturally, you will be highly focussed on hitting targets, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to trade off short and long term targets and have a history of making the right calls. A positive, driven mindset, self assurance and integrity are a must.
