Axon Moore have partnered with a high growth, acquisitive financial services company to recruit a part qualified Client Money Accountant to join their growing team.
The well known and prestigious group have Head Office based in Knaresborough, but the team work remotely on a full time basis, with the odd office visits for team days, and some ad hoc travel required to complete member audits.
The role of client money accountant will support members of the group in adherence to FCA rules, as well as optimise processes and report back to the group. The ideal candidate would be part/nearly or newly qualified with some grounding in audit in either industry or practice.

- Attend sites of member brokers and ensuring compliance with FCA client money rules
- Perform audit testing on members sites
- Dealing with stakeholders in members brokerages
- Production of monthly client money reconciliation's
- Monitor breaches of regulations and undertake corrective measures
- Monthly KPI reporting pack
Key skills required:
- Experience in internal/external Audit
- Practice trained or relevant commercial Audit experience
- Strong business partnering skills
- Able to build relationships
- Part qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)
