Commercial Analyst | South Manchester | ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified | Manufacturing
Job Overview:
Axon Moore are exclusively partnering alongside a highly successful, and growing Manufacturing company based in South Manchester, looking for a commercial astute analyst to join a growing finance function.
Reporting directly to senior leadership, this position will play a pivotal role in the development of the commercial offering within finance, more specifically looking to take advantage of a wide data set and providing key insight into the company’s performance.
Salary: £55,000-£65,000 + bonus
Location: South Manchester, with hybrid working
• Develop strong working relationships with the Executive and Commercial teams and become a trusted advisor.
• Produce budget & reforecast presentation pack using specified template including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flows and other supporting information and insights.
• Provide guidance to the Executive and Commercial teams and have the confidence to provide constructive challenge around assumptions and forecasts.
• Produce weekly cashflow forecasts and submit to Group by agreed timetables.
• Continuously improve the way data is processed and information presented using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint presentations.
• Produce budgets and forecasts in-line with Group timetables.
• Ensure all month end and reporting deadlines are met without compromise.
• Contribute and help to manage project initiatives directed by the CFO.
Person Specification:
• CIMA/ ACCA or ACA Qualified Accountant.
• Experience in Manufacturing is essential.
• Experience working with Power BI is advantageous.
• Excellent communicator, with the ability to work in a dynamic team.
• Advanced Excel skill set.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
