Credit Control Administrator

Axon Moore are delighted to be recruiting, due ongoing growth a Credit Control Administrator to join an award winning business based at their stylish Chester head office. 

You will be joining a talented Credit Control Team and will be responsible chasing outstanding debt via telephone, email and letter, monitoring the credit control inbox, responding to call back requests and resolving general customer queries. The role will also include providing assistance to the Credit Control Manager as and when required.

 

As our newest Credit Control Administrator, you will be accountable for the following areas of responsibility:

• Carrying out standard debt collection duties
• Responding directly to debt queries from owners/customers via telephone/e-mail and pro-actively contacting any owners/customers that are in debt
• Resolving queries directly with customers/owners on debt recovery and making quick decisions on behalf of the business eg implementing payment plans
• Producing formal documentation related to the debt collection process eg Letter Before Action
• To work with the Credit Control Manager to develop and enhance the legacy process
• Completion of the Customer Debt reports and collecting debt daily directly
• Completion of the Owner Debt reports and collecting debt daily directly
• Monitoring debt levels and preparing analysis on status of debt to be reported to the Credit Control Manager
• Liaising with the in-house Legal Director and/or our external legal advisors including production of solicitor packs
• Pro-actively liaising with other departments across the business to ensure the best service is provided to our owners/customers
• Attending any Court hearings when the Credit Control Manager is unable to and being involved in any relevant legal proceedings
• Any other ad-hoc duties as identified by the Credit Control Manager or Finance Manager
