Axon Moore are partnering a rapidly-growing business in Preston to recruit an experienced Credit Controller for a newly created, standalone role, offering complete ownership of their ledger and the chance to add value, implement new processes, and work independently within a team structure.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Proactively chasing overdue debt
- Cash allocation
- Ensure credit limits and payment terms correct
- Building rapport with key customers
- Month end queries
- Regular review of credit limits
- Escalations to legal
- Resolving customer queries and payment discrepancies
- Credit applications for new accounts
- AR reporting
- Ad-hoc tasks
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational and time-keeping skills
- High attention to detail and able to take ownership of their role
- Good systems knowledge and MS Excel skills
- 23 days annual leave rising to 25 after 12 months (plus bank hols)
