Axon Moore are recruiting on behalf of an exciting and growing business based in Manchester City Centre. We are looking to appoint a Credit Controller to work alongside a Senior Credit Controller, who would like to develop and become the main point of contact in Credit Control. This role will support the business to ensure invoices are paid on time and aged debt is managed as closely as possible.
Salary and Benefits:

Responsibilities include:
- Timely collection of outstanding debt from customers using phone and email
- Processing credit requests and updating records
- Posting and allocating of cash, debit notes and discounts on the ledger and ensuring accounts are reconciled correctly
- Assisting with sales month end procedures, including reporting on debtors, sales and returns.
- Balancing and keeping reconciliations up to date
- General ad-hoc duties to assist the finance team and the wider business
- Professional and able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Organise, self-motivated but can also work as part of a team
- Able to effectively work with clients to ensure bills are paid on time, and any queries resolved
- Able to effectively work with both colleagues and owners of the business to provide updates and assist with client communications
- Able to handle stress and pressure and remain calm, when dealing with difficult situations
