Job description

Axon Moore are delighted to be partnering with this business as they add a credit controller into their team. This role is suitable for a confident, outside of the box individual with a proactive personality. If you are an individual starting out in finance or have experience in an office based customer facing role, this opportunity is brilliant for your career. This business are Hybrid with two days working from the office, three from home. This company are not looking for an abundance of experience, rather someone with the right can do attitude and personality.

Salary: £23,000 - £25,000
Location: Manchester City Centre + Hybrid

Main Responsibilities
  •  
  • Contacting customers to ensure timely payment of invoices to meet agreed monthly targets
  • Resolving credit control and collections issues efficiently and effectively
  • Logging queries accurately and following through to resolution
  • Managing high volume of emails/calls, both incoming and outgoing, in a timely manner
  • Taking payments by debit or credit card
  • Ensuring overdue debts are identified and escalated for disconnection and/or external action in a timely manner
  • Ensuring the collection process is followed and maintained in a timely manner
  • The role holder may also be required to carry out any other duties within the scope and purpose of this role as requested by their line manager and in line with business needs
  • To be aware of and comply with all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to the Group/Company Data Protection policy, Equal Opportunities policy, and the Email and Internet Acceptable Usage Policy, in addition to Fire and Health and Safety Regulations.
  • The role holder may also be required to carry out any other duties within the scope and purpose of this role as requested by their line manager and in line with business needs.
