Credit Controller / £26,000 - £30,000 / Manchester City Centre  / Bonus Scheme

Axon Moore are delighted to be partnering with this leading business to add a credit controller into the finance team. This role will report directly into the Credit Control Manager, and cover all aspects of credit control as well as exposure into billings and payroll amongst other duties.

Location: Manchester City Centre 

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000

 Main Duties:
  • Reconciliation and posting of daily cash receipts.
  • Maintaining billing portals to ensure that all details are correct and up to date.
  • Take ownership of queries and resolve in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Chasing payment of outstanding invoices via telephone and email..
  • Produce statements to customers on request
  • Ensuring that debtor notes and comments are kept up to date
  • You will be responsible for managing a number of key accounts.
  • Liaising with third parties.
  • Maintaining good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Achievement of monthly collection targets and KPI’s
  • Resolve customer complaints efficiently.
  • As well as credit control, you will be responsible for working closely with the payroll and billing team, resolving queries, issuing credit notes, invoices and PO numbers.

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Outstanding computer literacy and able to exhibit a strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Wants to work in a fast paced, commercial environment.
  • Has a strong team work ethic and determination to complete their work to the best of their ability.
  • Confident in dealing with people over the phone and in person.
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Reliable and flexible as to the needs of the business
