Job description
Axon Moore are recruiting on behalf of a business based in Poynton, Stockport to appoint a temporary Credit Controller. This role will run for around 3 months and will support another credit controller in the business, to ensure incoming cash is allocated and aged debt is chased and managed as closely as possible.

- Timely collection of outstanding debt from customers by phone and email
- Posting and allocating of cash, debit notes and discounts on the ledger and ensuring accounts are reconciled correctly
- Reconciling accounts
- Assisting with month end procedures
- General ad-hoc duties to assist the AR team and the wider finance team
- Experience in a an Accounting role with some experience in Credit Control role ideally
- Competent user of Excel and accounting systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Adaptable and solid team player
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate accuracy and pay attention to detail
