Data Entry Clerkl Manchester - Hybrid  l Part time role for 6 months l £11- £12 hour + bonus


 


Axon Moore are pleased to be partnering with a professional services/ logistics company in appointing a part time Data Entry Clerk for a 6 month period. This role is ideal for someone who has a keen attention to detail and is looking for role that provides hybrid & flexible working.


 

 

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure all relevant data is accurate for invoicing
  • Ensure that data is up to date and properly organized, making updates and edits as needed
  • Review and verify data for errors, inconsistencies, or inaccuracies, and correct or flag them as necessary
  • Maintain high standards of data quality and confidentiality
  • Conducting ad hoc analysis to answer business questions
  • Scanning through information to identify pertinent information.
  • Extracting and preparing data from various sources
  • Creating reports and visualisations to highlight patterns and trends
  • Presenting and communicating findings back to senior stakeholders
  • Correcting errors and organizing the information in a manner that will optimize swift and accurate capturing.
  • Entering and updating information into relevant databases.
  • Any other ad hoc tasks as required.
 

Data Entry Clerk Requirements:
  • High school diploma.
  • 1+ years’ experience in a relevant field.
  • Good command of English.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed.
  • Proficient touch typing skills.
 

The Ideal Candidate
  • Strong academics, both GCSEs and A-Levels or equivalents
  • Comfortable using a variety of BI tools to visualise insights and help you tell stories with data
  • Highly numerate with excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, able to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to find anomalies or inconsistencies and pursue these through to a solution
  • Ability to multi-task, be exceptionally well organised; strong level of accuracy; meet established deadlines and work under pressure with a proactive ethos
  • Curious, and autonomous desire to understand the “why” behind trends & analysis to find opportunities
