Job description

Axon Moore are working with a hugely successful, market leading global organisation with a multi-billion dollar turnover.  They are ASX 200 listed and are currently operating in Europe, APAC and EMEA and growing both organically and due to acquisitions.

Due to the acquisitive growth over the last few years now is the time to look at Transforming Finance and implementing a robust ERP system (SAP) to streamline the intercompany process and provide a platform for future growth.                                     

The ERP Program Director provides vision and leadership to the Global Finance Team. This role is responsible for project, enhancement, and support delivery for the ERP systems. The ERP Program Director will work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of internal teams and external vendors to drive delivery throughout the organisation. This position will also oversee the support activities, manage resources/vendors and budget to ensure successful delivery in a cost-effective way. In addition to managing a team, this position will also be hands on for delivery.

Duties:
  • Manage a team of Business Analysts in charge of documenting the end-to-end process
  • Manage the relationship with System Integrator regarding Projects, CRs and AMS
  • Support projects of critical importance such as Wave 2 and others plan of the roadmap; provide leadership and guidance to global project teams for planning, building, and delivery.
  • Coordinate the AMS (Application Maintenance Service) with the System Integrator.
  • Manage and develop a global team of highly skilled IT Finance Business Analysts, including setting annual performance goals, developing career plans and ensuring the team is highly motivated.
  • Advise and provide recommendations to C-level decision makers regarding SAP standards.
  • Initiate activities to improve quality and delivery speed across the organisation.
  • Become a functional authority within the organisation.
  • Lead, debate, and communicate with key decision makers internally and externally; serve as mentor
  • Exercise latitude in determining approaches to critical assignments; work on issues that impact future strategic needs and technology
  • Maintain and use contacts throughout the organisation, industry, and other professional organisations to improve the ERP
  • Define and track support metrics, including KPI’s and dashboards.
  • Oversee the functional delivery and overall support of ERP including resource management.
  • Actively participate in Major Incident Management (MIM) with the Application Management Service.
  • Control and execute the required SAP Upgrades
  • Manage and control the IT Finance budget from an Opex and Capex perspective providing monthly reports and KPIs.
Person Specification
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Project Management,
  • Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience acceptable.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of SAP Project Execution / management experience
  • 5+ years directly leading global SAP (5+ resources)
  • Demonstrated experience with project management/Agile delivery / ITIL in a regulated environment
  • Expertise in software delivery best practices
  • Experience with implementing Dashboards, KPI implementation to report out on support activities
  • Experience in working with multiple vendors to fulfill resourcing needs
  • Tool & Technology Skills
  • S4 Hana implementation experience
  • Agile DevOps experience
