An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Administrative Assistant to join a fast-growing Services Business based close to Warrington.
Reporting to the Ledgers Manager, this role requires routine collaboration across the wider business. Initially the focus of the role is accurate data entry and finance administration, with opportunity ultimately to become involved with a wider range of activities undertaken by the Ledger Team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Opening and forwarding post to the correct departments
- Greet callers to the primary external line professionally and direct calls accordingly
- Coding and inputting supplier invoices to the purchase ledger system
- Processing invoices in the approval system, ensuring all invoices are issued to the correct site for approval
- Log penalty charge notices and support investigations and payment activities
- Liaising with the sites to ensure invoices are approved on time for payment to suppliers
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Support resolution of supplier and customer queries
- Keeping supplier details, account and other records accurate and up to date
- Keeping customer details and other records accurate and up to date
- Support Credit Card and Expenses Administration activities
- Any other duties as requested by the Ledger Manager, Finance Manager or Finance Director
- Attention to detail
- Good organisational skills
- Excel experience to manipulate data would be advantageous
