At Axon Moore, we are excited to partner with a well-established, privately-owned global organisation who are a prominent leader within their own industry.

We are currently in search of a Finance Business Partner, an individual to be tasked with the critical role of assembling and analyzing data to provide vital support to their operational decision-making processes.

This role would suit an ACCA, ACA, or CIMA-qualified finance accountant with proven business partnering experience.

This position will require close collaboration with key business stakeholders to implement strategic actions aimed at optimizing overall performance.

This position is based in Warrington, and it offers hybrid working, please note responsibilities extend to their operational across the Southeast of the UK Consequently, regular travel and on-site visits will be integral to the role twice a month. - expenses covered upfront.

Responsibilities:
  • Proactive and strategic approach to continuous improvement within all aspects of the role
  • Trend analysis across the various key metrics of the business, offering recommendations for business improvement.
  • Stakeholder reporting – producing management account reports at a depot, area and regional level for operations.
  • Growth reporting – creating pull for action/remedies to expand
  • Cost reporting – creating pull for action/remedies to lower cost to serve
  • Financial modelling of investment proposals
  • Budgets and forecasting – including asset replacement programme
  • Data verification – continual assessment of user input data to ensure correctness and consistency leading to accurate data collation and back end reporting/analysis. 
  • Stock management – ensure controlled and verified on periodic basis
  • Liaising with IT for developments and testing of new functions
  • Undertake ad hoc reporting and analysis
The Candidate:
  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA equivalent qualification
  • Able to form positive relationships with Executive, Senior and Depot Management
  • Experience across multi site cost centres, collating information from varying sources
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
  • Able to travel and spend nights away in the UK, 1 week per month of travel with 1 to 2 overnight stays as a normal rhythm. More travel than this initially to visit all major sites and meet the teams.
