This is a fantastic opportunity for a fully qualified and experienced Finance Business Partner to play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence and strategic decision-making within a fast paced, exciting and every growing UK retail brand!

Joining the established and talented commercial finance team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, provide insightful analysis, and contribute to the growth and success of the business.

***This role would be ideally suited to someone fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with solid commercial finance/FBP experience within a bigger business/fast paced working environment***

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, the key duties will include:
  • Performance measures to support and challenge the business
  • Ensure visibility and understanding of accurate financial and non-financial KPIs daily, weekly and monthly
  • In partnership with internal stakeholders, create detailed plans which underpin the company budget and support their growth ambitions.
  • Work to continually improve the effectiveness and efficiency of planning and forecasting processes.
  • Participate in decision-making forums, business planning, reviewing business performance and contributing to strategic direction.
  • Review and influence buy plan proposals for inventory purchases and review performance.
  • Produce insight into product profitability, incorporating directly attributable costs. 
  • Interpret performance of sales and extended profitability, perform variance analysis of sales, gross profit and stock to keep performance on target.
  • Identify operational levers that will drive improvements and influence business partners to deliver the right business outcomes, balancing sales, profit and inventory implications. 
The successful candidate will:
  • Be fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA - Essential
  • Have a strong commercial finance background, gained within industry - Essential
  • Have a proven ability to build productive business relationships with a wide network of finance and non-finance colleagues - Essential
  • Love to bring insight and challenge to the business to improve revenues and profitability - Essential
  • Have strong analytical and Excel skills, honed in an environment of working with complex financial models - Essential
