Job description

This is a large international, multiple award winning technology business based in Leeds City Centre, who have multiple offices across the UK and overseas.

The brand have, and are still going through some phenomenal growth, with plans to open an additional 3 UK offices by the end of 2023! 

They have very impressive headquarters based in Leeds City Centre with their central hub is based, and they are now looking to hire a fully qualified Finance Business Partner to join their fast paced and busy commercial finance team, reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Finance.

Reporting to the Senior Business Partner the role will be responsible for analysis, reporting and key stakeholder management. 

***The role would be ideally suited to a qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA, with 1-3 years post qualified experience within a bigger business environment, looking for a commercially focused management accounts/finance business partnering with a rapidly growing market leading Tech business**


Key duties of the role will include:
  • Leading data input and manipulation to produce monthly Board and Management Accounts presentation pack
  • Liaise and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders through periodic P&L and ad hoc reviews
  • Variance analysis between actuals and Budget/Forecasts including to analyse, challenge and interpret the month end results
  • Provide detailed analysis and insight into variances in sales, margin, direct costs and overheads.
  • Lead analysis of all areas of the P&L to identify opportunities and propose actions to improve profitability
  • Manage the bi-weekly reforecast process including regular dialogue with Heads of Delivery and updates to the bi-weekly forecast report.
  • Update commercial files with monthly actuals to allow for analysis of key client profitability and other key business metrics
  • Develop value added reporting and review processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and timeliness of information and delivery of additional insight
  • Assist in preparation of Budgets, including preparation of presentations
  • Integral in developing and implementing ongoing improvements in financial data as well as processes and systems to support analysis and decision making across the global business

The successful candidate will:
  • Be CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified - Essential
  • Have a minimum of 3 years working in an FP&A or Business Reporting function - Essential
  • Have advanced Excel skills and the ability to manipulate of multiple data sources to deliver detailed analytics - Essential
  • Have experience of working in fast paced, dynamic environments - Essential
