Axon Moore are delighted to be working with a highly successful, long established group seeking an experienced Finance Director for one of their longest standing business divisions. A privately owned business they are seeking a Finance Director to join a high performing, Senior Leadership Team who will work with the Managing Director to lead the business through a period of change and transition. Currently at c.£70m turnover, the goal is to reach £100m over the next 2-3 years.
The incoming Finance Director must be able to add value to the strategic direction, operational performance and growth of the business whilst adopting a hands-on approach with regard to the financial detail of the company and development of the team. Leading a team of c.35, the FD will professionalise, transform and restructure the established finance function; improving procedures and controls in order to generate improved reporting with quicker, more detailed and better quality financial information.
The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant and experienced Finance Director; a natural leader with the communication skills, credibility and gravitas to communicate and influence at all levels of the business. They should be capable of operating strategically and prepared to be hands on and in the detail where necessary. Sector knowledge of end-to-end manufacturing in a fast-paced environment would be advantageous.
