Axon Moore are searching for a Finance Director for an owner managed business based near to Brighouse close to the M62 motorway network.
The business offers a broad range of technology focussed services and has a growing customer base both nationally and internationally.
This is a Finance Director role with a broader remit overseeing other operational and general management areas of the business.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing the finance function all financial and management reporting requirements
Managing the external relationships with the banks, insurers, auditors etc
Providing strategic direction to the board, preparing high level market analysis and reports
Partake in customer contract negotiations and meetings
Run the back office function as well as finance, including HR & IT
Identifying potential M&A targets
The ideal candidate for this role would possess the following skills and experience:
Qualified finance leader
Must have held an FD or equivalent role in an owner managed or privately owned SME
Willingness to be ‘hands on’ as well as strategic
High levels of emotional intelligence and gravitas
