Finance Manager | Oldham (2 days in office) | £55,000 - £60,000 | PE backed
Axon Moore are working with a market leading, PE backed business in Oldham who are seeking a Finance Manager to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
This is a broad role that encompasses both commercial & technical finance, business partnering with 2 operational leads and producing financial models whilst having an emphasis on controls & variances.

This is a broad role that encompasses both commercial & technical finance, business partnering with 2 operational leads and producing financial models whilst having an emphasis on controls & variances.
Responsibilities include:
- Interpreting and articulating financial results, trends, and key variances versus financial plans
- Implementing financial processes within the division to assess working capital requirements and improve cash generation
- Ownership of reporting to various external stakeholders e.g. lenders, banks, private equity house
- Managing a team of 2 direct, and 3 indirect reports
- Oversee the production of monthly management accounts including variance analysis
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Weekly performance reporting
- Identifying, developing, and embedding new and more insightful ways of communicating analytical outcomes that drive business performance, including where appropriate financial business KPI’s
- Assessing potential new opportunities alongside the business development team
- Working with the FP&A team to strengthen the financial planning cycle and output
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- Strong excel skills
- Confident communicator with an ability to present financial information
- Ability to work in a fast paced PE backed business
