Finance Manager | £58,000 - £62,000 | Lancashire & Manchester (Flexible Working) | Bonus + Long term incentives
Axon Moore are exclusively partnering with a leading Venture Capitalist in the Lancashire area. You will be working for a growing group who invest in a diverse range of financial assets and businesses. As Finance Manager you will be required to manage company accounts across the entire portfolio group including internal Head office accounts.
As part of their continued growth and ambitious investment plans, this newly created role is an outstanding opportunity to join the private equity investment business of one of the UK’s most successful entrepreneurs.
• Prepare Management Accounts for all group entities.
• Tracking and posting of month end journals.
• Production of group board pack including obtaining and reviewing accounts for non-group companies
• Assist the external company accountants in producing statutory accounts
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly covenants for external funders.
• Managing and developing the Accounts Assistant and growing team.
• Implementation of controls and procedures to ensure good cost management and purchasing.
• Producing cash flow forecasts
• Commercial oversight and creation of MI and board packs for investors and directors
• VAT management including the production and filing of quarterly VAT return for group companies.
• Long term incentives to progress internally
• Liaise with external stakeholders to access support for businesses
You will be a Fully Qualified Accountant from either an ACA, CIMA or ACCA background to be considered, however this would naturally suit a practice trained Accountant looking for their 2nd move in industry.
