Finance Manager | Central MCR (Hybrid) | £50,000 - £55,000 + 10% bonus | Retail/Fashion
Axon Moore is delighted to be partnering with one of the fastest growing retail SMEs in Manchester who have triple turnover in the last 3 years whilst expanding internationally. Due to this phenomenal growth, they have created a new role for a qualified Finance Manager to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
This could be a a first step into management for an ambitious and driven individual who has a strong management accounts background, taking on a team of 2 direct reports. Responsibilities include:
- Oversee the month end process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. This will include P&L analysis and full balance sheet reconciliations
- Working capital management and cash forecasting
- Capital investment appraisal and review
- Support the FC and Head of Finance with the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process to support the decision making process
- Build effective working relationships with cross functional business partners to drive process improvements, and delivering key business metrics and insight to enable informed decision making
- Take control of stock management, recording and reporting.
- Work with internal and external IT partners ensuring the finance system meets the business needs in delivering timely and accurate reporting
- Review and continually develop and enforce financial policies and procedures.
- Support in any financial due diligence requests
- Confident communicator, with an ability to challenge stakeholders
- Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
- Advanced Excel skills
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
