Finance Manager | Manchester city centre (2-3 days office based) | £45,000 - £55,000 + bonus

Overseeing a sizeable transactional team, you will be responsible for:

Overseeing a sizeable transactional team, you will be responsible for:
- Provide support to the Financial Controller in running the day-to-day operations and processes of the department
- Supervising the Assistant Accountants and the various sub functions of the department
- Dealing with mid-level and high-level queries that come into the department from the Leadership Team, fee earners and clients
- Preparation of subsidiary management accounts with commentary and analysis
- Paying Partners, reconciling payment made and postings on the system
- Preparation of reconciliations, reports and ad hoc information as reasonably requested.
- Support the Finance Director with ad-hoc projects and reporting
- Previous experience in the legal sector or similar professional services business
- Prior experience managing/mentoring staff would be desirable
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified however QBE will also be considered
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build strong relationships across the business
