Job description
Axon Moore have been engaged by a PE backed technology provider based in Leeds to assist in the hire of a Finance Manager to lead one of their key "hyper-growth" divisions.
Reporting into the divisional Financial Controller, you will be responsible for a team of 2 & have autonomy of the day to day running of the Finance function.
You will play a key role in defining the future direction of the division and this will involve working very closely with the senior leadership team.
Responsibilities
• Preparation of monthly management accounts journals, bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Production of draft management accounts and management accounts pack
• Production of variance analysis, commentary & weekly flash reports
• Preparation of reports for budget holders
• Prepare and submit the quarterly VAT return in advance of the relevant deadline
• Manage the budgeting process with key internal stakeholders
In order to be considered you must have the following skills/background/experience:
• Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
• Managerial / Leadership experience
• Strong system skills
• Experience in overseeing the production of monthly & annual accounts
• Confident dealing with non-finance stakeholders
