Finance Manager
Ashton-Under-Lyne
£350 - £375 Per Day (Outside IR35)
Axon Moore has an urgent requirement for an experienced and qualified accountant to work for a well-established private equity backed manufacturing business. Trading with a blue chip customer base this really isn’t an opportunity to miss out on.
The successful candidate will report into the CFO and have experience with month end reporting. A motivated self-starter with a positive and engaging personality and the ability to get on with people, will do well within this role.

Role Specification
- Broad responsibilities covering management and statutory accounting, supporting month end process
- Lead on budgeting and forecasting working closely with CFO, CEO and Head of Sales
- Responsibility for compliance including UK and Irish VAT, Corporation Tax, PAYE/NI real time reporting, Year End P11d and other payroll reporting processes (PSA etc)
- Business partner to Chief Financial Officer and working closely with Chief Executive and Operations Director
- Mentoring/developing small but experienced finance team
- Main point of contact for external advisors including audit, tax and VAT.
- Lead the finance team in the monthly reporting cycle ensuring deadline are and information is accurate.
- Responsible for forecasting and reconciling cash flow for the business including weekly 26 week cashflow forecasting for reporting to Board of Directors
