Finance Manager

Axon Moore has partnered with an exciting finance team within a Private Equity backed business in Liverpool to recruit a Finance Manager for their growing team.

This is an exciting brand that is growing organically as well as through acquisition, and so they need to bolster their finance team with a strong calibre Finance Manager who can help increase their team capacity.

The role will:

• Report to a talented and supportive Senior Financial Controller and Finance Director
• Be responsible for mentoring and training junior accountants as they progress through their professional exams
• They will conduct a hands-on and broad role, from helping in transactional finance processes through to producing management accounts and analysis for different subsidiaries (this is a fast paced SME so they are looking for a person who is humble and happy to facilitate at different levels of the team where needed).
• Work with operational staff and stakeholders, building rapport, supporting them with their MI and encouraging positive change
• Be flexible on an ad-hoc basis to support the FC and FD with ongoing projects which frequently arise.
