Axon Moore are delighted to be working alongside an ambitious, and entrepreneurial organisation based just outside of Manchester, looking to make a key addition to their Senior Management Team.
The successful individual, will hold the role of Finance Manager, reporting into a Part -Time Finance Director, and play an essential role in the day to day running of the finance function. The Finance Manager will be responsible for both financial reporting, and commercial analysis, maintaining strong controls and key business insight to aid decision making.

The successful individual, will hold the role of Finance Manager, reporting into a Part -Time Finance Director, and play an essential role in the day to day running of the finance function. The Finance Manager will be responsible for both financial reporting, and commercial analysis, maintaining strong controls and key business insight to aid decision making.
Key responsibilities:
- Monthly reporting to the Board with timely and accurate financial information
- Financial forecasting
- Manage cash flow, including foreign currency and ID facility
- Develop/monitor financial controls ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded, reported and reconciled
- Develop systems and reporting.
- Develop operational as well as financial KPI dashboards
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and Involvement in product costing and labour recovery
- Review and analysis the financial impact of customer and commercial contracts and proposals to minimise financial risk
- Lead, develop and motivate a small finance team
- Financial management of added value projects
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders and advisors
Person specification:
- ACA/ CIMA or ACCA Qualified.
- Past experience working in a similar role, either in an SME Finance Manager position, or a large SME with a clear transferable skillset.
- Exposure to Power BI is preferred.
- Commercial exposure to KPI analysis, and board reporting.
- Proactive and hands on approach to work.
