Finance Manager | Central Manchester | ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified | £50,000-£70,000
Job Overview:
Axon Moore are working alongside a high growth Technology firm based in Central Manchester who are looking for a Finance Manager to join in a newly created role. On the back of continued growth, our client has decided to bring the finance team in-house, providing more control, quality, and development of the finance function.
This is a rare opportunity for a postholder to shape a finance function in their own image as are provided an open brief to improve processes and develop new ways of working. Directly reporting to the Managing Director, the position will receive fantastic mentorship, with a clear progression route towards the Financial Controller role, and subsequently the Finance Director position.

Main Duties:
- Ful ownership of the day-to-day finance function.
- Business partner alongside senior leadership to provide commercial insight into business performance.
- Monthly Management Accounts.
- Provision of monthly Board pack.
- Cash flow forecasting.
- Manage the relationship with external accountancy practice for areas such as Payroll and VAT.
- Identify efficiencies and process improvements.
- Desire to manage into the future as the finance team grows.
- ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA Qualified.
- Relevant experience working in an SME.
- Able to support the business function and senior management team.
- Excellent communicator, capable of disseminating financial information to both finance, and none finance individuals.
- Experience working in an environment with tight deadlines.
