This opportunity is a newly created management accounts/business partnering role, that will join an established team within a high profile and continually growing Yorkshire brand!
The role will assist in the production of management accounts, business partnering with all areas of the business, reporting and analysis and supporting the statutory accounting.
***The role would be ideally suited to someone with an established background in management accounts and financial analysis, with an advanced knowledge of excel (Power BI or tableau experience would be ideal) and a passion and skill for improving processes***

Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, the duties will include:
- Assisting with the production of management accounts and financial information including the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements
- Support with the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasting.
- Working closely with the internal stakeholders to develop high quality cost and income information for the business.
- Preparation of regular reports as required, providing analysis and insight on financial and non-financial performance.
- Leading the development of MI reports across the FP&A team driving consistency in reporting, budgeting/forecasting and processes
- Support with the reporting of statutory accounting
- Provision of timely balance sheet account reconciliations
- Attending cross functional meetings/forums to engage and support with provision of financial information related to the development of projects & initiatives.
- Any additional responsibilities as delegated by the Finance Business Partner, Senior Finance Business Partner, or Head of Finance.
- Be part of fully qualified ACCA/CIMA, or qualified by relevant experience - Essential
- Have previous experience of management accounts preparation - Essential
- Have advanced Excel skills - Essential
- Have experience of developing MI / BI reports (e.g. using PowerBi or Tableau) - Desirable
- Flexible on location - this role can be based at either the York or Leeds (City Centre) office
- Hybrid working - very flexible working pattern, be in the office as and when you need or want to be!
