Finance Reconciliation Analyst (3 Month Contract – Potential to be Extended)
Glasgow City Centre
£250 - £300 per day (Outside IR35)
Axon Moore are representing a truly innovative market leading business. This is an incredibly exciting time for the organisation who are going through a period of significant change. The opportunity for Finance Reconciliation Analyst will be Hybrid with a minimum of 2/3 days per week in their Glasgow City Centre Offices.
Reporting to the Finance Operations Reconciliation Manager . This role requires a candidate with good analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to identify process improvement opportunities and action them by building and developing strong relationships with peers and key internal stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for control and reconciliation of bank and balance sheet accounts resolve complex issues and support and improved reconciliation process so that risk is evaluated and remedied in a timely and accurate manner. Support optimisation programme with key initiatives alongside , biannual audits.
Key Responsibilities/Tasks:
• To be an expert in the reconciliation of complex balance sheet reconciliations
• Develop reports for internal customers in order to resolve outstanding reconciliation queries.
• Work collaboratively with fin ops transaction finance to aid in the clearing of outstanding reconciling entries
• Identify and implement continuous process improvement opportunities.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required:
Essential
• PQ/QBE
• Comfortable dealing with large volume of transactions
• Ability to understand complex processes
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent excel skills
• Effective communicator
• Drive clearance of complex reconciliation issues
• Identify and escalate reconciliation issues and risks to the finance Leadership Team.
• Manage and resolve complex query resolution with key stakeholders.
Highly Desirable
• Experience with Netsuite, Financial Services experience and Proficient in data analysis
