Axon Moore are currently working alongside an E-commerce fashion brand who are embarking on a period of exceptional growth which has presented an opportunity to enhance the finance team. Working in an SME, this is Financial Accountant role with have significant breadth of responsibility and have full exposure to the SMT.
The position is ideally suited for individuals with a background in audit, management accounts, transactional finance and building external relationships. There is a strong emphasis on progression, with examples of internal members of the finance team offered exciting opportunities to continue their progression within the business.

Salary: £45,000-£50,000
Location: South Manchester
Main Duties:
- Working as part of the finance team to complete the Month end process.
- Overseeing, and supporting the transactional finance function, working closely with them to ensure correct procedure.
- Assist with the YE and half year audit, statutory accounts, and tax compliance.
- Submission of VAT returns.
- Take ownership of the banking relationship.
- Continuously support the finance team in the roll-out of system implementations, new processes, and controls.
- Deliver commercial support to the Commercial Analyst and CFO when required.
- Take ownership over various control processes e.g. payments and stock.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Background with exposure to audit, month end and transactional finance.
- Advanced Excel skill set.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
