Axon Moore are recruiting a newly qualified Financial Accountant on behalf of a leading SME based in Preston. This is an opportunity to join the business at an exciting time due to recent expansion and several new acquisitions.
The role offers high exposure across the business, allowing the opportunity to drive change and make the role their own.

- Assisting with the preparation of external reporting requirements, including half year and year end accounts
- Financial reporting
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with relevant developments in financial reporting standards
- Preparation of monthly consolidated accounts
- Process improvements and efficiencies
- Liaising with external auditors
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
- Contribution to the development of systems and internal controls
