Financial Controller | Beauty/ Retail/ E-commerce | £60k-£70k+bonus | Hybrid | Manchester
Role Overview
Axon Moore are delighted to be exclusively working alongside a fantastic, market leading brand based in the E-Commerce Beauty industry who are looking for a Financial Controller to join the business.
This role will be the number 1 in finance, reporting directly the Managing Director and acting as a key business partner to a variety of stakeholders. You will manage a small, growing finance team and be responsible for the full finance remit.
I am looking to speak with individuals who have experience in the E-Commerce/ Retail or Beauty industry and are passionate to continue their career in finance in this sector. Ideal candidates would have held a similar role in a fast paced, ever-changing environment with proven team management experience and a passion for continual development.

Location: Manchester (3 days in the office)
Responsibilities
• Management Accounts and all MI reporting for board.
• Act as a business partner and key support for the Founder and MD.
• Support senior leaders across the business to understand and present financial information.
• Oversee the finance team, as well as the external IT delivery.
• Prepare performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain external relationships including bank, accountants, finance partners and suppliers.
• Create and execute finance strategies.
• Manage the annual audit process and responsibility for year-end statutory and tax filings.
Person Specification:
• CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA Qualified
• Previous experience working in an e-commerce environment is essential
• Advanced excel skillset.
• Excellent communication skills, acting as a partner for various stakeholders.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Commercially focused.
• Ambitious individual who is keen to progress.
