FP&A Analyst | Manchester | £45,000 - £52,000 + 10% bonus | Well known retail brand
An instantly recognisable retail business on the outskirts of Manchester are seeking a commercially astute FP&A Analyst to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
Due to internal promotion, this role has been created to work in a fast-paced evolving finance team to provide accurate and timely analysis to an expanding multi-site operation, in addition to Business Partnering with Executive teams.

Due to internal promotion, this role has been created to work in a fast-paced evolving finance team to provide accurate and timely analysis to an expanding multi-site operation, in addition to Business Partnering with Executive teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Support the Finance team in providing professional support and advice to the business to ensure that commercial decisions are made based on sound financial judgement
- Three Year Plan forecasting for the Group providing regular updates throughout the year (including pre-budget outlook and bi-annual going concern forecasts)
- Annual Budget setting process including management of suite of financial models and data driven assumptions, business partnering with relevant stakeholders providing review and challenge
- Forecasting including scenario analysis covering important seasonal periods
- Provide support to the Business Development team in creating financial models for Business
- Cases for new openings (new sites, new concepts or potential acquisitions) and review and challenge of assumptions and outcomes
- Provide ROI analysis on investment in new openings and venue refurbishments
- Design and deliver financial models and data visualisations to improve understanding of business performance
- Communication of outcomes (budget, forecasting, analysis) to the business in a commercial and concise manner to plc standards
- Support the Commercial Finance team in producing concise, timely and relevant analysis to ad hoc requests both from within Finance and the wider business
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified
- Strong Excel skills, Power BI experience would be advantageous
- Confident, commercial outlook with an ability to business partner with senior leadership teams
