FP&A Consultant
Manchester, UK with travel to other UK sites (fully expensed)
Interim 6 months / Temp to Perm / outside IR35
Axon Moore are working exclusively with a rapidly growing, highly acquisitive, PE backed business with a Manchester head office. They are seeking an interim FP&A Consultant with expertise in financial modelling, analysis or contracts and advanced excel skills.
As FP&A Consultant, you will be a key contributor to our financial strategy, providing in-depth analysis, financial modelling, and reports. You will perform in depth analysis of contracts and assess profitability. Plus you will be creating complex financial models as required.
Duties:
You must be able to travel to other UK sites, particularly in the first few months! Initially travel will be 5 days per week, dropping to 2 / 3 days after a month or so.

Duties:
- Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modelling.
- Management Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management, emphasising key performance indicators and trends.
- Strategic Planning: Assist in developing financial strategies and business plans to drive growth and profitability.
- Cost Control: Collaborate with various departments to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Data Analysis: Analyse financial and operational data to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Financial Systems: Maintain and improve financial reporting systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams and senior management to support their financial requirements and decision-making processes.
- Ad-Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed.
- CIMA / ACCA /ACA or equivalent.
- Proven experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.
- Excellent knowledge of financial planning and reporting systems.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
