Job description

Graduate Accountant | £18,000 - £24,000 | Kendal | Very Reputable Business | Excellent progression and promotion plan | Engaging Mentor

The Business:

Axon Moore are exclusively partnering with a really exciting brand that is growing rapidly in the Kendal area. The client continues to invest heavily to build out their business at a fast pace which has produced the need to expand their internal team with a new Graduate Accountant.

Progression Plan:

The successful Graduate Accountant will have a well-mapped out training and development programme over the first couple of years, with a diverse and challenging role amongst a strong and dynamic finance team, but most importantly, working for an excellent mentor. Once trained and part-qualified, there will be further opportunities for progression and internal promotion.

The Role:

This is a dynamic finance team that prioritises talent that can be agile to new challenges and ultimately be the driving force behind the business growth. The Graduate Accountant  will be a trainee role with a view to train as a qualified accountant, therefore the role will encapsulate all core areas of  finance whilst deputising on behalf of a qualified accountant. The role will also have lots of exposure to different finance-led projects across the business.

Pre-requisites:
  • Have a 2:1 or above in Mathematics, Accounting and Finance, or other relevant numerical degree
  • Very motivated to progress with ACCA or CIMA
  • Be highly ambitious and career focused
  • Any previous accounts experience would be beneficial, but not essential
