Graduate Accountant | £20-25,000 + Study Support | Lancaster | Fast-growing, private equity-backed SME | Excellent Progression and Mentorship
Axon Moore has exclusively partnered with an excellent business in North Lancaster as they continue to expand their operations. This business has witnessed significant growth in recent years and have attracted a best-in-class finance team under an established CFO.
This role will be well suited to a finance graduate who wants to train as a chartered accountant, as this role offers study support, training and excellent progression routes as well as the opportunity to be mentored by established and successful industry leaders. Therefore, an ability to demonstrate a keen level of enthusiasm and a desire to succeed is imperative.
This will be a broad role giving the successful Graduate Accountant end-to-end exposure in a finance team, including all financial year end activities, month end management accounts and transactional finance. There will also be the opportunity to get involved in various ad-hoc projects.

Desired/Required Experience and Skills may include:
- A graduate in an Accounting or Maths based subject
- Part-time or gap year experience (desirable)
- Strong Excel understanding and skills
- A willing an energetic person who is keen to develop and progress to take more responsibility over time.
- Strong numerical aptitude, good time planning skills and attention to detail
- A proactive self-starter with excellent team-work abilities, who works hard under pressure and is happy to go above and beyond in the role
- Strong interpersonal skills – approachable and down to earth with good communication skills
