Axon Moore are partnering with a business based in Shipley who are looking to recruit a short term temp to assist in the Management Accounting team. This is a great opportunity to join the Management Accounts team, and for an individual seeking a hands on role, gaining valuable experience and start their career within a growing industry.
As Graduate Assistant Accountant duties will include:
• Supporting with the production of month end accounts, including journal postings and reviewing invoices
• Posting and managing balance sheet accruals
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with the production of budgets and forecasts
• Variance and trend analysis
As the successful individual you must:
• Have a 2:1 or above in Accounting and Finance or other relevant numerical degree
• Be highly ambitious and career focused
• Be intending to progress with ACCA or CIMA
• Any previous accounts experience would be beneficial, but not essential
• Advanced Excel skills – including Vlookups, SUMIFs, Pivot tables ect.
