Axon Moore are exclusively recruiting a Graduate Finance Assistant on behalf of a well-established and growing business with a Global outreach, based in Manchester City Centre. Offices are located in Europe, the US and Asia, with Finance based out of Manchester and London. This role is based full time in Manchester, however there will be travel to the London site required every other month.
The business will require the role to support the Finance Associate and Finance Management team in managing and processing financial transactions. This will require working with internal and external stakeholders, such as staff, suppliers and customers and will appeal to those who are looking for a role within finance.
Salary and benefits:
Salary up to £28k DOE plus study support for ACCA/CIMA, 25 days holiday plus banks, 5% pension matched, Medical, Wellness allowance (Gym or subscriptions), hybrid working and flexible working hours (37.5 per week)

Responsibilities include:
- Management of the Finance inbox and responding to internal and external queries and escalating where required.
- Responsibility for the group Accounts Payable function including staff expenses
- Assisting with the Accounts Receivable function; preparing sales data, liaising with clients and monitoring collections and overdue balances
- Assist with monthly management reporting, including bank reconciliations, journals and inter-company transactions
- Business partnering with stakeholders across the group to provide financial data and analysis
- Assisting the finance teams with administrative duties and projects
- A graduate in an Accounting or Maths based subject or experience in a varied accounting/analysis role while studying ACCA/CIMA
- Strong Excel understanding and skills, looking to improve and learn more
- A willing an energetic person who is keen to develop and progress to take more responsibility over time.
- Strong numerical aptitude, good time planning skills and attention to detail
- A proactive self-starter with excellent team work abilities, who works hard under pressure and is happy to go above and beyond in the role
- Strong interpersonal skills – approachable and down to earth with good communication skills
